~Sydney Attended the Montana State University Film & Television school. Upon graduation from MSU she stepped right into media production with Backcountry Media. Since 2007 she has been the producer, director, videographer and editor on multiple film and still photography projects. As a native of Montana, Sydney has an inborn passion for everything outdoors. Her characteristic style of film and photography demonstrates her affinity for natural lighting and a talent for capturing "The Magic Hour." Sydney is also doing videography work with Nations, the Native American division of Campus Crusade for Christ.

~ Erik has always enjoyed media production and began web design in 1996. When he and Sydney met they discovered that they could couple their abilities and create a team to run what is now Backcountry Media. Erik has directed, produced, filmed, edited video and sound on more than a dozen videos since founding Backcountry Media and is now breaking into the realm of high definition videography.

We have teamed up with Cutthroat Multimedia to create unique outdoor sports productions.
